In person may suit you
if you prefer meeting face-to-face, want a dedicated space away from home, or live in the north of the city within a straightforward drive.
Professional Mental Health Support, a Short Drive, or a Click Away
Mississauga is a city of three-quarters of a million people and very few counselling options that are actually convenient to where you live.
The city is spread out. What is close to Port Credit is nowhere near Meadowvale. Traffic on the 403 at six o'clock turns a fifteen-minute drive into forty. A practice that looks ideal on a map can turn out to be entirely impractical on a Tuesday evening.
C.S. Counselling & Consulting Services supports Mississauga residents with individual, couples, family, children, youth, and mental health counselling. You can meet our team virtually or attend in person at our Brampton clinic, which sits close to the Mississauga border on the north side.
We do not operate a clinic in Mississauga. Our office is at:

Sometimes the question is not which type of therapy you need. It is why you have been feeling this way for months.
Depending on your needs and your therapist's scope, counselling may address:
We work with individuals, couples, families, children, and youth.
Our clinic is on the northeast side of Brampton, which makes the practical calculation very different depending on your neighbourhood.
North Mississauga, including Malton, Derry, Lisgar, and parts of Meadowvale, is genuinely close. Airport Road, Highway 410, and Mississauga Road all run north, and for many people here the clinic is nearer than somewhere in their own city centre.
Central Mississauga, around Square One, Cooksville, Erin Mills, and Streetsville, is a moderate drive of roughly half an hour depending on traffic.
South Mississauga, including Port Credit, Lakeview, Clarkson, and Lorne Park, is further out. Virtual counselling is often the more realistic option unless you are already travelling north.

Virtual counselling is available across Ontario with selected therapists rather than the whole team. Mention it when you get in touch and we will tell you who is available.
It tends to make sense when:
You need a private space, a reliable connection, and a suitable device.
Explore Online CounsellingChoosing counselling is not only about finding the right service. You also need to feel comfortable enough to say the things that are difficult to say.
We have supported clients since 2011. The practice is led by Coslyn Selby, RSW, a psychotherapist and registered social worker with over 20 years of professional counselling experience, and our team includes registered psychotherapists, registered social workers, and a Canadian certified counsellor.
Every clinician's registration number is published, so you can verify it independently.
We start with what you have been experiencing rather than assuming we already know.
Work, family, culture, history, and circumstances may all be relevant. You decide which parts matter.
We work toward an appropriate direction based on your needs and your therapist's training and scope.
Depending on the clinician, counselling may draw on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, compassion-focused approaches, mindfulness-informed strategies and person-centred work.
Mississauga is one of the most diverse cities in Canada, and that shapes what people bring to counselling.
Immigration and settlement, credentials that did not transfer, family expectations across generations, multigenerational households, and the isolation that can follow a move are all common themes here.
Sessions may be available in:
Culturally responsive counselling does not mean assuming your background explains what you are going through. It means letting you decide which parts of your story are relevant.
Neither is automatically better.
