Counselling & Therapy at Our Brampton Clinic
Where We Are, What to Expect, and How to Find Us
This is our home clinic. Not a satellite office or a room rented by the hour, but the place C.S. Counselling has worked from while supporting clients across Brampton and Ontario since 2011.
If you have already decided to book and simply want to know where you are going and what happens when you arrive, this page covers it.

Contact the clinic
We are on Bovaird Drive East in northeast Brampton, close to Brampton Civic Hospital. The clinic is on the fourth floor of a professional office building, so you arrive as you would for any other appointment rather than walking into anything that announces itself.
Office hours
Monday to Friday, 9am to 9pm. Saturday, 9am to 6pm.
Individual therapists also offer appointments outside these hours, including evenings. Ask when you get in touch.
Getting Here
By car. Bovaird Drive East runs across the north of the city and connects to Highway 410 to the west and Airport Road to the east. From most of Brampton, the drive takes under 20 minutes.
From Highway 410
Exit at Bovaird Drive and head east.
From Highway 407
Airport Road or Highway 410 north both lead to Bovaird.
By transit
Brampton Transit routes run along Bovaird Drive, with connections through Bramalea City Centre and Brampton GO. Check current routes and times before travelling.
Accessibility
The building is wheelchair accessible, with elevator access to the fourth floor and an accessible washroom on our floor. Designated accessible parking spaces are available.
If you need an accommodation of any kind, please mention it when you get in touch, and we will tell you what to expect on the day.
Arriving for Your Appointment
Come through the main entrance sliding doors, take the lift to the fourth floor, and ring the doorbell at Suite 408. Reception and the waiting area are inside the clinic.
You do not need to arrive early. Arriving at your appointment time is fine.
If you are running late, there is a 15-minute grace period, during which we will call to check you are on your way. The session still ends at its scheduled time.
Allow extra time for traffic on Bovaird Drive at rush hour if you are coming straight from work.
Which Parts of Brampton We See Clients From
Clients come to the clinic from across the city, including:
Our northeast location is particularly convenient for Springdale, Castlemore, Bramalea, the neighbourhoods around the hospital, and southern Caledon.
What We Offer at This Location
Our team works with individuals, couples, families, children, and youth. Depending on your needs and your therapist's scope, counselling may address anxiety, depression, anger, relationship difficulties, domestic abuse, alcohol-related concerns, grief, self-esteem, life transitions, fertility-related distress, and settling into life in Canada.
Explore Our Counselling Services Who We HelpYour First Visit
Before you arrive, the free 30-minute consultation usually happens in person and can be arranged online. That is where you describe what has been going on, and we discuss which therapist may suit you.
No advance paperwork
There are no forms to complete in advance. Intake information is gathered during your first session, and your therapist completes the form with you.
A conversation, not an assessment
Your therapist will ask what brought you in, what you have already tried, and what you would like to be different. You are allowed to say a topic is off limits.
After the session
Sessions run for 60 minutes. Payment is taken at the end, and you will be given a receipt. Afterwards, you and your therapist discuss whether to book again. Nothing obliges you to continue.
Why Clients Choose This Clinic
We have supported clients in Brampton and across Ontario since 2011. Coslyn Selby, RSW, a psychotherapist and registered social worker with over 20 years of professional counselling experience, leads the practice.
The team includes registered psychotherapists, registered social workers, and a Canadian certified counsellor, with a range of backgrounds and areas of focus. Every clinician's registration number is published, so you can verify it independently.
Experience
A Brampton-based practice supporting clients since 2011.
Professional clarity
Clinician designations and registration numbers are available for independent verification.
Therapist fit
Tell us your preferences for gender, language, or experience. If the fit is not right after you start, say so.
Counselling in the Language You Are Comfortable In
Brampton is one of the most linguistically diverse cities in Canada, and the language you conduct business in is not always the language you can talk about difficult things in.
Sessions may be available in English, Hindi, Punjabi, Urdu, and Gujarati, depending on which clinician you see. Mention it when you get in touch and we will tell you honestly what is possible.
Where culture, faith, or background matters to what you are going through, there is room for it. Where culture, faith, or background does not matter, it will not be treated as the explanation for everything.
If You Would Rather Not Travel
Virtual counselling is available across Ontario with selected therapists rather than the whole team. Mention it when you get in touch and we will tell you who is available.
Plenty of local clients choose online sessions simply because a weekday appointment is easier from home or from a parked car outside work than it is after a drive across the city. Some alternate between the two.
