In person may suit you
if you prefer meeting face-to-face, want a dedicated space away from home, or live in north Etobicoke within a straightforward drive.
Support That Does Not Require Crossing the City
Etobicoke sits on the western edge of Toronto, which means residents here often find themselves looking either east into a congested downtown or west toward Mississauga and Brampton.
For counselling, heading west is often the easier option.
C.S. Counselling & Consulting Services supports Etobicoke residents with individual, couples, family, children, youth, and mental health counselling. You can meet our team virtually or attend in person at our Brampton clinic, reachable via Highway 427 and Highway 407.
We do not operate a clinic in Etobicoke. Our office is at:

Two practical reasons come up repeatedly.
Availability. Waiting lists in central Toronto can be long, and a clinic slightly outside the city may be able to see you sooner.
Direction of travel. An appointment that means driving away from downtown at the end of the day is considerably less draining than one that means driving into it.
There is also a quieter reason. Some people prefer that their counselling is not in the same few blocks as their work, their gym, and everyone they know.

We work with individuals, couples, families, children, and youth.
The practical question of whether to travel depends heavily on where in Etobicoke you are.
Rexdale, Thistletown, West Humber, and the areas near Humber College and the airport are genuinely close to Brampton. Airport Road and Highway 427 both run directly north, and many people here already travel this direction for work.
Islington-City Centre, Kingsway, Markland Wood, and Eringate are a moderate drive using Highway 427 to Highway 407 or Highway 401.
Mimico, New Toronto, Long Branch, Alderwood, and Humber Bay are further out, and virtual counselling is usually the more realistic option unless you are already heading north for other reasons.
Our office is on Bovaird Drive East near Airport Road, which puts it on the north side of Brampton.

You need a private space, a reliable connection, and a suitable device.
Explore Online CounsellingWe have supported clients across the Greater Toronto Area since 2011. The practice is led by Coslyn Selby, RSW, a psychotherapist and registered social worker with over 20 years of professional counselling experience, and our team includes registered psychotherapists, registered social workers, and a Canadian certified counsellor.
We start with what you have been experiencing rather than assuming we already know.
Work, family, culture, history, and circumstances may all be relevant. You decide which parts matter.
We work toward an appropriate direction based on your needs and your therapist's training and scope.
Depending on the clinician, counselling may draw on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, compassion-focused approaches, mindfulness-informed strategies and person-centred work.
Etobicoke is home to long-established communities and to many recent arrivals, particularly in the north of the district.
Immigration, family expectations, identity, employment pressure, and adjusting to life in Canada can all affect well-being, and they may be central to what you want to discuss or barely relevant.
