Anger Management

Anger is indisputably normal it is a totally healthy human emotion which all of us experience from time to time. However, anger not expressed in the proper way can become destructive if we do not know how to control it. Anger when it gets out of control can turn destructive it can lead to problems – problems at work, in personal relationships, and in the overall quality of your life.

Anger when used in a proper way propels us to take action, solve problems and handle situations constructively. The feelings of anger the emotions that are experienced when in an angry state is neither good nor bad, because anger is not the problem-it’s what you do with it that makes a difference.

The goal of managing your anger is to reduce both your emotional feelings and the physiological feelings that anger causes.

Understanding how to manage anger takes work, but the more you practice, the easier it gets. Learning to control your anger and display it correctly can help you build better relationships, achieve your goals, and lead a healthier, more satisfying life. However, the inability to cope with anger in constructive or healthy ways is a problem in and of itself.

On the other hand when anger is not expressed, it can lead to problems such as:

  • Lpassive-aggressive behavior
  • Loveracting
  • Lmaking threats
  • Lacting without thinking things through
  • Lswearing a lot
  • Lnot even your friends are safe from your anger
  • Lgetting angry at bad drivers with your windows closed
  • Lgetting angry at politicians for the way their decisions affect you
  • Lmostly you are just angry at everyone and just about everything
